There will be a lot happening in the woodfibre trade industry between our last conference and late 2014, with major changes expected in:
- The Asian woodchip markets and in Pacific Rim suppliers,
- Increased competition for woodfibre in Europe,
- Huge surge in US South and Canada East Coast woodpellet production,
- New developments in Asian biomass markets, and other interesting subjects.
We are developing a program of topics and speakers for the conference.

The event will be followed by a field trip to the Conception area, about one hour by plane from Santiago. The region is very rich in visit opportunities, including radiata pine, eucalyptus globulus and eucalyptus nitens plantations, several woodchip exporting facilities, biomass users and dedicated biomass crops, sawmills, plywood mills, and pulp and paper mills. We are planning a very busy, varied and productive two day field trip.
If you would like to register your interest in attending, please suscribe your email to our News service and we will include it on our updates and announcements.
Mark your calendars for the 7th International Woodfibre, Resources and Trade Conference.
